Analysts J.D. Power CSI regularly conduct research on car reliability among buyers in order to find out whether all car owners are happy with their acquisitions. Interviewed drivers with a two-year driving experience, the number of breakdowns, quality, convenience and maintenance costs. Based on these data, the owner’s satisfaction index is calculated, according to which the cars are ranked. Although the survey was conducted among European car enthusiasts, it seems that the results will help determine the most reliable car for Russia.

9. Audi Q3
The premium crossover is comfortable, quiet and fairly reliable - there are 90 breakdowns per 100 cars.
8. Hyundai ix35
The compact crossover, the third generation of the Hundai Tucson, is distinguished by both safety (the American Institute of Insurance and Road Safety awarded this car the highest Top Safety Pick award) and reliability - there are 89 breakdowns per hundred cars.
7. Opel Adam
The best representative of the class of small cars from those presented in the ranking. Small, economical (only 3.5 liters of fuel per 100 km), environmentally friendly, with a bright, catchy design, good finish and excellent handling. And at the same time, it is quite reliable - 87 breakdowns per 100 cars.
6. Toyota Auris
The best model in the compact family car segment in this ranking. For all its external inexpressiveness, the car is quite reliable - among cars aged 2-3 years, an average of 84 out of 100 had to seek technical assistance. Serious damage got even the smaller number of cars - only 2.6%.
5. Skoda Fabia
Hatchback Skoda Fabia - this is the third generation of this model. Large, roomy (the most impressive trunk in the class) and safe (the car won first place in passive safety in the hatchback class). Owners to Skoda Fabia are positive - 80 breakdowns per 100 cars.
4. Skoda Yeti
The holder of the title "Family Car of the Year", fourth place in the competition "European Car of the Year" is popular among motorists - at the end of last year, more than half a million Skoda Yeti compact crossovers rolled off the assembly line. After the purchase, the owners are more likely satisfied with the reliability of the car - for 100 cars there are 77 breakdowns.
3. Opel Mokka

In general, buyers are quite satisfied with this mini-crossover, which, with its small size, has sufficient off-road capability (if you choose a complete set with all-wheel drive, of course). In general, customers are satisfied with the quality of Opel Mokka. There are 67 breakdowns per 100 cars, which allows a worthy representative of the German automobile industry to take third place in the ranking of the most reliable cars.
2. VW Tiguan
The second generation of the VW Tiguan crossover is significantly different from its predecessor - the car has become more solid, larger in size and more comfortable for both the driver and passengers. And the level of reliability is quite high - 58 breakdowns per 100 cars.
1. Kia Sportage
And the most reliable car (even in the secondary market) and the undisputed leader in the rating is the Kia Sportage SUV, which has only 45 breakdowns per 100 used cars. An impressive result! No wonder Kia Sportage enjoys the well-deserved love of motorists. The latest version of the car is equipped with many technical innovations such as a system for recognizing road signs, parking assistance, a camera in the windshield (it analyzes the location of oncoming cars and automatically switches the light from far to near) and much more.
